Spring is just around the corner and that means it’s time to join the Orlando Philharmonic for The Springs 2008, Dancing Under the Stars, on Saturday, May 3, 8:00 p.m. at the beautiful Springs Community located in Longwood, just off W. SR 434.
The Springs is an annual concert tradition. Now in its fifth year, this year’s event, Dancing Under the Stars, promises to be more entertaining than ever as the Orlando Philharmonic gets into the ballroom dance craze sweeping across America. You’ll hear a variety of contemporary and classic dance music like the lively and flirtatious cha cha, the smooth sounds of the foxtrot, the swinging sounds of the jive, the sensuous sounds of the Latin dances – like the mambo, samba, and tango, and the music of the ever-popular and elegant waltz.
Principal Pops and Resident Conductor Andrew Lane returns to conduct the orchestra in this outdoor celebration. Featured vocalist Michelle Amato lends her musical talents to some of your favorite tunes. And because this event falls on Kentucky Derby day, hats and Derby-themed picnics are encouraged!
This special concert event sells out each year, so order your tickets early. Remember, VIP tickets are limited and usually sell out first. There are several ticketing options.

- For more intimate groups, consider the Corporate Table option, which comes with a full buffet, complimentary beverages and reserved concert seating. Corporate Tables and VIP tickets are a great way to impress clients and thank those instrumental to your success.
- Group Tickets are another way for you to thank your staff and their families by throwing a unique Company Party and picnic! You may purchase a group of General Admission tickets, where groups of ten or more receive a 10% discount. The Orlando Philharmonic will work with your company to ensure the experience is a memorable one. The Philharmonic will reserve an area for your group, and put you in touch with a caterer who can build custom picnic baskets tailored to suit your needs.(Or you can even create a more upscale experience for your staff with a lovely full-service VIP option for your company party.)
