The programs in this award-winning series are designed to demystify the world of classical music for children of all ages with concert experiences that are as educational as they are entertaining. This afternoon of musical fun begins at 2:00 PM with a variety of pre-concert interactive activities, including instrument petting zoos, and the popular conducting station, where you can step up to the podium to conduct the Orlando Philharmonic! Our favorite clowns will be on hand to paint faces and do some clowning around. Be sure to stop by the Question and Answer Station, and write down your question for the conductor and the musicians. Your question may be read on stage and answered by a musician from the orchestra! Be sure to show off your costume and enter our costume contest, featuring superhero judges.
At 3:00 PM, enjoy the musical program, Costumes In Concert. Maestro Andrew Lane has assembled a program that will have you clapping your hands and tapping your feet! This fun - filled concert features music from some of your favorite movies including The Incredibles, The Wizard of Oz and Pirates of the Caribbean.
