Come and enjoy a sampling of everything the arts community has to offer in your own backyard – 285 events in 48 venues across four counties! ArtsFest kicks-off the annual fundraising campaign of United Arts of Central Florida.
From February 2 through February 12, United Arts will work in concert with the cultural community to raise awareness and resources for the region’s arts and cultural programs. All events are FREE and open to the public, although some events have limited seating and capacity. To make a reservation, call the organization directly. Plan early as space is limited and all tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
There is a four-ticket limit for each reservation as well as a 30-minute no-show policy that will be strictly enforced. Please plan to arrive at Reservations Required performances early to redeem your tickets.
A limited number of tickets will be available to Reservations Required venues the day of the performance and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
While all ArtsFest events are free, there may be a charge for parking. For more information about ArtsFest and the schedule of events and frequently asked questions, visit www.UnitedArts.cc. Enjoy a performance by the Orlando Philharmonic String Ensemble as the Philharmonic continues its Mozart Festival, celebrating Mozart’s 250th birthday. The ensemble sets the mood for the Enzian’s presentation of Amadeus. Enjoy this mini-concert of Mozart’s music while you wait outside to be seated.

Following on the heels of a six-month composer mentoring program, the Orlando Philharmonic presents its 2nd annual Young Composer’s Challenge with selected works to be performed by musicians of the Orlando Philharmonic and the FSYO at Orlando-UCF Shakespeare Festival’s Playfest, on February 11 and 12.
The competition is for high school students, ages 14 – 18 years of age.The compositions must be original and there are cash prizes offered in the following categories:
- Instrumental Band & Orchestra Scholarships
- Choral Solo & Ensemble Scholarships
- Instrumental Solo & Ensemble Scholarships
- Popular Works Scholarships (Jazz/Rock & Pop)
