Hungarian pianist Csilla Szabo by age eighteen had degrees from the Liszt Academy in Budapest and the Margaret Long Academy in Paris. She has won at international piano competitions in Paris and Rio de Janeiro. Her carreer as a soloist and recording artist as well as a chamber musician has taken her to virtually all the countries in Europe, North and South America and Asia. Ms. Szabo has worked with artists including Sir John Barbirolli, Zubin Mehta, Henryk Szeryng and many others. Her teaching carreer has included a long time Professorship at the Bartok Conservatory in Budapest as well as a twenty year tenure in Austria. She has moved back to Budapest a few years ago where she lives with her cat Cicuka and tries to come to Florida as often as she can to visit.
